The Challenge
The bank's web-only experience was losing younger customers to neobanks. They needed a mobile app with the polish of a consumer product and the security posture of a bank — shipped to both stores in under a year.
Our Solution
We built a React Native app with biometric authentication, instant card controls, real-time notifications, and P2P payments, backed by a hardened API layer with device binding and behavioural anomaly detection. A phased rollout with feature flags let the bank launch to staff, then 5% of customers, then everyone.
The Results
The app now serves over a million users at 99.9% uptime with a 4.7-star average rating. Mobile became the bank's primary channel within six months of launch, and support call volume fell as customers self-served card and account controls.
